Job description:
Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry (Night Shift)
Location: Concord, MA
Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients on MedSurg and Telemetry units
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to assigned units based on staffing needs
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
Schedule Requirements:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 3 years of recent MedSurg and Telemetry experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
