Responsibilities and Duties

Provide 24-hour emergency call coverage for spinal and cranial cases
Respond to urgent neurosurgical consults and emergencies as needed
Perform surgical interventions for spinal and cranial trauma
Tumor removal is a plus but not required
Collaborate with rounding RN and PA support staff during weekday hours
Monitor and round on 1012 patients daily for ongoing care and post-operative follow-up
Submit 24 case logs from the past 24 months as part of credentialing

Additional Information

Must have active Ohio medical license
Board certification in Neurological Surgery required
Experience in both spinal and cranial procedures necessary
Emergency call only; no scheduled elective cases
Low volume: 06 cases per week
Support staff offer minimal assistance during weekdays due to clinic responsibilities
