Description

Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests classified as waived, moderate and high complexity tests and procedures according to established standards; maintains and calibrates highly scientific equipment; serves as a resource to others relative to technical questions; participates in QC/QA activities relative to the laboratory.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: 1 year internship in an approved Medical Technology program.
• Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory in an acute care laboratory.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
