Section Chief Duties

• Ensure regulatory compliance for anesthesia service, which may involve attending or running meetings as appropriate
• Provide support to the department which may include but is not limited to the following:
  • Assisting with long and short-term planning efforts for anesthesia service
  • Providing advice and direction to medical and administrative staff in the development of policies promoting quality and efficient medical care and quality as it relates to the service line
  • Participating in provider recruiting activities
