Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a current MA RN license and BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Work schedule is 3x12hr shifts, 3:00am-3:30pm, including every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
• Use of Epic EMR charting system is required
• Provide care and monitoring for laboring mothers and newborns in the delivery unit
• Rotating holidays are part of the schedule
• Parking may require use of public lots or transportation and may involve daily fees
• Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to receive standard travel pay rate

Requirements

• Active and current MA RN license is required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Valid BLS certification through AHA is required
• NRP certification through AHA is required
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (AWHONN) is required
• Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required
• Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
