Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication and assembly, is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Welder to join their team. As a 3rd Shift Welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: 3rd Shift Welder
Location: New Bern, NC
Pay Range: $17.00 (vary with experience)
Shift: Night Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform setups on a wide variety of products and materials based on blueprints, verbal instructions, engineering direction, and customer specifications.
- Weld, braze, assemble jigs, and perform related operations requiring individual problem-solving and ingenuity.
- Read and interpret blueprints; perform MIG welding at ASW Certification level.
- Inspect welded parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience in welding, brazing, and jig assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Certification in MIG welding at ASW level or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
