Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shifts (07:00 - 19:30), working 3x12-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts required, with 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix. Call requirements include 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix, requiring a 30-minute response time.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in the Pre-Screen Unit will be responsible for assessing candidates to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical review and meets WellSpan guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for a final decision. This position requires proficiency in robotic surgery and the ability to function independently across multiple specialties.
Responsibilities- Conduct clinical assessments for candidates in the surgical unit.
- Ensure compliance with WellSpan guidelines.
- Manage patient care in various surgical specialties, including General, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, and more.
- Provide care for COVID patients as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with Level I Trauma experience preferred.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Proficient with Da Vinci Xi and DV5 robotic systems; familiarity with robotics in general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties.
- AHA or ARC certification required.
- No license hits accepted; candidates must have a valid RN license.
