Locum Anesthesiologist - Weekday & Weekend Call/Clinical Coverage

Schedule:

• Ideal Coverage: One full week at a time, encompassing weekday overnight call (typically following a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM clinical shift) and potential weekday clinical work shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
• Other Durations Considered: We are open to discussing other coverage durations based on your availability.
• Weekend Call: Separate needs for 24-hour weekend call coverage.

About the Opportunity:

The hospital is seeking dedicated and available Anesthesiologists to provide essential locum coverage on an ongoing basis. We are ideally looking for providers who can commit to full-week blocks, covering both weekday overnight call (following a standard clinical day) and potential weekday clinical work. We also have separate needs for 24-hour weekend call coverage. This offers a flexible opportunity to contribute to our anesthesia team.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Providing anesthesia services for a variety of surgical and procedural cases during weekday clinical shifts (typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
• Taking weekday overnight call, responding to emergent and urgent anesthesia needs.
• Providing 24-hour weekend call coverage, managing all anesthesia-related issues arising during that period.
• Performing pre-anesthesia evaluations.
• Developing and implementing anesthesia care plans.
• Administering and monitoring anesthesia.
• Managing post-anesthesia care in the immediate post-operative period.

Coverage Needs:

• Ideal: Full week blocks (Weekday Clinical Shifts + Weekday Overnight Call).
• Also Seeking: Providers for 24-hour weekend call coverage.
• Open to discussing other durations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Insert State Here (or the ability to obtain one).
• Experience providing anesthesia services and call coverage.
• Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases.
