Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring at least two years of recent experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry unit position in a hospital setting
• Day shifts available, 3x12 or 4x12 (07:00-19:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:5, occasionally up to 6 with lower acuity patients
• Required to work every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty and to a sister facility as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Responsibilities include managing telemetry monitoring and care for assigned patients
• Must be willing to float to lower acuity units and to a sister facility as needed
• Scheduled holidays must be worked if assigned
• Supportive team environment with established orientation for travelers

Requirements

• Active Maryland or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications
• Minimum of two years recent Telemetry RN experience
• First-time travelers will be considered
