American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Position is in an acute care setting on the Physical Therapy unit
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 8-hour day shifts
- The facility is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
- Uses Point Click Care for charting; experience with this system is helpful
- Physical Therapists are responsible for evaluation, treatment planning, and supervision of patient rehabilitation in an acute care environment
- Orientation hours are not provided; candidates should be prepared to adapt quickly
- Applicants may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
- Travel and work radius requirements may apply depending on state of assignment; review local policies for specifics
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided upon hire
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care setting
- Active state license or Compact (NLC) licensure required; pending licenses will not be accepted (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification is required and must be active at time of consideration
- Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Copy of valid driver’s license required for consideration
