Board Certified - General Medicine
Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments for veterans• Multiple locations available throughout Arizona including Flagstaff, Sierra Vista, Tuba City/Chinle, Nogales, Safford, and Payson• Must live within specified radius of service location (ranges from 30-50 miles depending on location)• PRN basis with ongoing needs• Flexible schedule options: half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments• Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment involved• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed)• Must have active and unrestricted full Arizona license• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• Follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)• Not open to active military duty personnel, those in reserves, or those actively employed at the VA
