We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Missouri starting Jan 5, 2026, for 24 days. The opportunity offers a flexible schedule, typically one day per week for clinic and alternating surgery days, with manageable patient volumes and a supportive clinical team.

Job Details

• Provider Type Needed: Orthopedic Surgeon
• Schedule: Flexible; current provider works one day per week—Mondays for clinic (20-25 patients per day), alternating Tuesdays for surgery (4-5 surgeries per day)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct outpatient orthopedic clinic visits for patients of all ages
• Perform 4-5 orthopedic surgeries per surgery day
• Provide post-operative follow-ups for surgical patients
• Collaborate with nursing staff, who handle pre-operative preparation
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both clinic and surgical settings

Additional Information

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Missouri
• Clean background required
• Outpatient experience necessary
• Board certification not required
