Facility:This facility is a comprehensive healthcare center serving the Virginia community and surrounding areas. The hospital features 5 operating room suites in the main OR and an additional OR on the obstetrics unit specifically for C-sections, providing essential medical services to the region's residents.
Opportunity: CRNA - Nurse AnesthesiaThis position offers a unique opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to practice in a rural setting with both medically directed and independent practice opportunities. The role involves administering anesthesia to patients of all ages in various settings including the operating room, obstetrics, and throughout the hospital as needed.
Job Details:• Salaried position with 8-hour day shifts plus 24-hour call responsibilities
• Call schedule is approximately 1:6 ratio with flexible, self-scheduling options
• Call coverage Monday-Friday and Saturday-Sunday
• 20-minute callback window for emergencies with a call room provided
• Labor analgesia service for approximately 250 deliveries per year
• Work with various surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, ENT, podiatry, gastroenterology, OB/Gyn, and ophthalmology
• Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
• Requires RN license in Minnesota and NBCRNA certification
• Excellent communication skills and ability to function effectively in stressful situations
