The position is for an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician providing comprehensive care including labor and delivery, surgical procedures, and inpatient consultations in a Level I nursery setting. The role requires management of both low and high-risk pregnancies, operative gynecology, and emergency interventions such as Cesarean sections and fetal monitoring. Board certification, relevant life support certifications, and an active Ohio medical license are required, with locum tenens benefits and support provided by AMN Healthcare.

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 24-hour call, Labor & Delivery, surgical cases, and inpatient consults.

Practice Setting: Nursery Level I

Types of Cases: Low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, ultrasounds, fetal heart rate interpretation, Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, decision-making for Cesarean section, Complicated deliveries - Cesarean section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology - Open procedures, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, andOperative/major procedures.

Credentialing Timeframe: 0-30 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Expanse

Certifications Required: Truly Board Certified or Board Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , Drug Enforcement Administration, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Licensure Required: Active Ohio license
