Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the nation. This opportunity offers flexible coverage options, either at a designated facility or in your own office, as you help serve our Veterans.
The practice is designed to facilitate quick onboarding processes and provide assessment exams that are primarily interview-based, focusing on evaluating a patient's general health status.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interviews with patients to gather medical histories and assess health conditions.
- Administer physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Submit required reports and addendums promptly after examinations.
- Participate in ongoing training to remain current on protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in General Medicine or related specialty.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience with Compensation & Pension exams is a plus.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
- AANP Certification required.
- Must complete DMA training for certification.
