Job Title: Outpatient Primary Care Physician
Location: Whiteriver Indian Hospital, Whiteriver, AZ and/or Cibecue Health Center, Cibecue, AZ
Schedule:- Whiteriver: Monday Friday, 08 00; Mon Thu extended hours 08 00
- Cibecue: Monday Friday, 08 00
- Duration: Base + Four (4) One-Year Option Periods
Contract Type: 1099 or W-2
Facility: Indian Health Service Whiteriver Service Unit
Qualifications:- Completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Med-Peds
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or territory
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult and pediatric patients
- Perform patient interviews, physical exams, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning
- Manage complex and routine primary care cases
- Develop and implement patient care plans, provide preventive care, health maintenance, and counseling
- Coordinate care with allied health professionals and specialists
- Participate in teaching activities as needed
- Respond to "Code Blue" pages within the outpatient department
- Complete timely and accurate EHR documentation per hospital policy
- Comply with CMS, EMTALA, and Joint Commission standards
