Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with active ME or compact license and required certifications to work in a perioperative setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room and perioperative environment
- Duties include circulating, scrubbing, and recovery (PACU) responsibilities as needed
- Assignment length is 13 weeks on a day shift schedule
- May rotate to Pre-Op or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period
- Ability to effectively communicate with members of the perioperative team is essential
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support organizational values
- COVID-19 vaccination is required
Requirements
- Active RN license in ME or Compact state required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- CNOR certification preferred
