Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Concord, North Carolina (zip 28025) – near Charlotte
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room, 19 OR suites
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/02/2025 – End: 11/29/2025)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule (45-minute response time)
• Holiday Coverage: Travelers work 75% of holidays
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state nursing license
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Proven experience in multiple surgical specialties: Trauma, Orthopedics, Spine, Cardiac, Vascular, GYN, Robotics, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Plastics
• Ability to respond to call shifts within 45 minutes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures
• Assist with a broad range of surgeries, including trauma, ortho, spine, cardiac, GYN, robotics, and more
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper use of operating room equipment
• Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing clinical education
• Follow facility protocols and contribute to a positive operating room culture
• Participate in weekend rotations, call shifts, and holiday coverage as scheduled
