Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with night shifts and a WY or compact license requirement.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Women's Services/OB unit
- Work setting is a hospital environment
- Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient care focused on labor, delivery, and postpartum cases
- Team-based nursing care provided to mothers and infants during delivery and postpartum periods
- Required to clock in and out using the hospital's electronic timekeeping system
- Staff may be required to float within a defined radius
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
- Holiday coverage may be required as per hospital policy
Requirements
- Active WY or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or OB required
- Current BLS certification required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
- No certifications can expire within 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
- Must provide full US Social Security Number and date of birth for compliance
- Applicants cannot be currently employed in a permanent position within the health system
