Our client, an industry leader in warehouse and logistics operations, is seeking a Forklift Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Forklift Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on forklifts, including electric, propane, diesel, and gas-powered units.
• Inspect forklifts for wear, damage, leaks, and safety concerns, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions using diagnostic tools and standard methods.
• Repair or replace components such as masts, lift chains, cylinders, forks, control panels, and electrical wiring.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair forms, and inspection checklists, and communicate equipment status to supervisors.

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn forklift repair procedures.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
