A 65-bed acute care hospital in rural northern Maine is seeking a hospital-employed Anesthesiologist to join a team including 2 Anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs, handling approximately 2500 cases annually across 5 OR suites. A 65-bed acute care hospital in northern rural Maine is adding an Anesthesiologist.Well-known for its patient-centered services, the hospital and its staff have won numerous state and national awards for quality in both customer service and clinical performance. The Hospital has over 500 employees, 40 active medical staff providers, 125 courtesy and consulting physicians, and 30 volunteers.
About the Opportunity:
- Join a strong Anesthesiology practice in a dynamic community that is economically, culturally, and socially inviting
- The team includes 2 Anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs
- Option to workeither a schedule of 26 weeks per year (generally on a two-on, two-off rotation) or 13 weeks per year (generally 1-on and three-off rotation)
- Call will be 1:2 or 1:3, respectively, and will coincide with the two-on, two-off rotation or 1-on 3-off rotation
- 5 OR suites
- The number of cases per year is approximately 2500
