Days with a choice of 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides care to patients in both acute inpatient and elective outpatient settings. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary team specializing in cardiovascular health, available 24/7 for emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients on examination tables according to protocols.
• Continuously assess patient hemodynamics and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer conscious sedation and maintain IV/IC infusions.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures and ensure safe recovery of patients.
• Request time off must be noted prior to submission; late requests will not be approved.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of current experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• 2+ years of experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Moderate Sedation Certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Cath and peripheral, STEMI, and STEMI call is required.
• Proficiency in interpreting EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
• Experience with conscious sedation and IV management.
• Current New York RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications are required.
• Traveler must have reliable transportation.
• Dependability and a strong patient-oriented focus are essential.
