Obstetrics and Gynecology Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Rancho, NM Job Details: We are currently seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens position near Rancho, NM. This role is ideal for a physician looking to provide high-quality care in an inpatient setting, focusing solely on call coverage. The position is available starting ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis, providing a valuable opportunity for those looking to make a difference in women's health. As an Obstetrics and Gynecology locum tenens provider, you will be responsible for covering call shifts in an inpatient setting. This role does not require daily clinical hours, but it does involve being on call to handle any emergencies or patient needs that arise. The role is suited for physicians who are comfortable with both routine and emergency obstetric and gynecologic care. Key Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Replacement due to resignation Shift Type: Call only Practice Setting: Inpatient Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship: Preferred but not required License Requirement: Must hold an active New Mexico medical license EMR System: Epic Privileges: Temporary privileges available Call Type: Call coverage only, with responsibilities for emergency and routine care Holiday Coverage: Must be available for select holidays, including: Memorial Day Christmas Day Thanksgiving Day 4th of July New Year's Day Christmas Eve Labor Day Day after Thanksgiving Additional Information: Hospital Certification: Not stroke-certified Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) Admissions Required: No Patients Per Shift: Varies depending on patient needs Beds in Department: 16 Rounding: Both This locum tenens opportunity provides a unique chance to contribute to a healthcare team near Rancho, NM while focusing on providing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care during on-call shifts.
