Wound Care Physician (Mobile) - Charlottesville, VA
Full-time: Flexible schedule
Pay range: $200k plus bonuses
Willing to do 5-6 visits per day within 20-30 miles.
Position Summary: The Mobile Wound Care Physician is responsible for providing in-home or facility-based wound care services to patients, primarily focusing on chronic, non-healing, or complex wounds. The physician will assess, treat, and manage wounds, ensuring optimal healing and improving the quality of life for patients with various wound-related conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise in wound care, including chronic and diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, surgical wounds, and other conditions that impair wound healing.

Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license in VA.
- Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, or wound care).
- Certification in wound care (e.g., CWSP - Certified Wound Specialist Physician, WCC - Wound Care Certified) is highly preferred.
- Experience in wound care, including the treatment of chronic, non-healing, or complex wounds.
- Strong knowledge of wound care management techniques, including debridement, NPWT, and advanced dressings.
- Excellent communication skills to educate and engage patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile practice.
- Comfortable with technology for documenting patient care and managing appointments.
