Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania? A facility near Middleport, PA, is seeking coverage for inpatient urology services.
Position Overview- Schedule:
- 1-2 weekends per month.
- Coverage from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM.
- Responsibilities:
- Handle consultations from the emergency department and hospital.
- Perform surgeries in the main OR.
- Manage urology-specific cases including gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, and difficult catheter insertions.
Patient Information- Age Range: Adolescents (16+) to geriatrics.
- Patient Volume: Average of 2-4 new consults per day.
Requirements- Licenses & Certifications:
- Active Pennsylvania medical license.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- DEA and Pennsylvania CSR.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in general urology care.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Epic EMR.
Additional Details- Privileges: Must be secured before start date ( 60 days).
- Orientation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided.
- Vaccination Requirements: Proof of flu vaccine or an approved exemption.
