A licensed pulmonologist with critical care board certification is sought for locum tenens coverage in Florida, providing care in multiple ICU settings. The role requires working 5-7 shifts monthly starting October 1, 2023, with adherence to state licensing, DEA requirements, and vaccination policies. The physician will work alongside a resident team managing ICU beds across medical, burn, and cardiovascular units using Meditech EMR.
Coverage Needed: October 1, 2023 - Ongoing Need a provider who can work days and/or nights Clinical Information: 1 MD and 1 APP during the day, 1 MD at night. Full resident team 24 MSICU beds, 6 burn icu beds, and 12 CVICU beds EMR: Meditech Typical patient caseload - ADC is 20-24 Required: Must have FL license and FL DEA Must be BC in Critical Care Must work 5-7 shifts per month and be able to start in October DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active Current Flu Vaccine Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
