The role involves managing primary care patients across pediatrics and internal medicine with responsibilities including outpatient clinics, hospital rounding, and newborn nursery care. Facility:
This established healthcare facility serves as a regional hub with 5 clinics and 1 hospital in the area. The facility is known for its collaborative, team-based approach to primary care and is the only provider in the area with dedicated pediatric specialists. The clinic supports a growing practice with approximately 500 deliveries per year.
Opportunity: Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
This is a dual specialty role allowing you to practice both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in a supportive environment with established patient volumes and collaborative care teams.
Job Details:
- Pediatric practice includes well-child checkups, immunizations, sports physicals, and adolescent health programs with minimal inpatient volumes
- Join a team of 1 PNP and 15 Family Medicine providers in a growing practice
- Monday-Friday schedule between 8am-5pm; 36 patient contact hours in clinic
- Anticipated pediatric volume: 14-18 patients/day with 2-3 procedures/day
- Special procedures preferred/required: Circumcision
- Call rotation: 1 in 10 weekends and weekdays with primary care team including newborn rounding, C-section & delivery coverage
- Internal Medicine practice with anticipated volume of 15-20 office patients per day
- Hospital rounding for newborns and coverage of ICU (average census 4) & Med/Surg (average census 15)
- Level I Newborn Nursery responsibilities
- Requirements: IM/Peds residency, board eligible/certified (H1-B visa candidates will be considered)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may include quality incentives and production-based compensation opportunities.
