Responsibilities include onsite, remote, and call coverage involving MRI, mammography, and angiography modalities for patients aged 0 to 21. The role supports high-volume imaging with 24/7 rotational shifts and collaboration with teleradiology support.
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity. This role involves a combination of onsite, remote, and call coverage at a high-volume pediatric facility.
Key Details:Setting: Hospital-based
Call Coverage: 24/7 (rotational schedule) - 12 hour shifts day and night with weekend call
Trauma Level: Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
Annual Imaging Volume: 80,000+ studies
EMR: EPIC
Patient Demographic: Ages 0 21
Standard radiology support staff onsite
Night coverage managed by teleradiology (vRad)
On-call radiologist provides backup in case of delays
Diagnostic reads may be performed remotely
Onsite presence required for specific hours during daytime coverage
MRI: Basic neuro, brain, spine, musculoskeletal (MSK)
Mammography
Angiography
