ScheduleNight 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) shifts available. Rotating schedule with every other weekend and preferred availability for holidays.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Pediatric RN with NICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to neonates and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of nursing practice and patient care.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patient health status and administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document nursing care accurately in the Meditech charting system.
- Perform specialized procedures including tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
- Active Maryland RN License
- BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a pediatric or NICU setting
- Experience with conditions including prematurity, AOP, ROP, and NAS is preferred
