Experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner providing critical care to newborns in a Level IV NICU environment. Skilled in performing advanced procedures such as chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture, and central line management during mainly night shifts. Holds required certifications and licenses, ensuring proficient management of surgical recovery and intensive newborn care in a 58-bed facility.
Schedule:
Mainly night shifts, including holidays/weekends
Weeknights: 5 PM 8 AM (15-hour shift)
Weekend nights: 3 PM 8 AM (17-hour shift)
Minimum 4 6 shifts/month
Procedures/Case Mix:
Surgical recovery, critical newborn care
Chest tube insertion/removal, lumbar puncture, central lines, umbilical catheterizations, etc.
No transport responsibilities

Credentialing: days
- Orientation: 3 days (Mon Wed) after privileges granted
- Level IV, 58-bed NICU
Requirements:
Active CA license
2 3 years of Level IV NICU experience
Certs required: BLS, NRP, PALS
