Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a flexible Emergency Department and Med-Surg position requiring ED experience and an IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units within a hospital setting
• Scheduled shifts include Sunday day and Thursday night in the ED, with an additional rotating Med-Surg night or day shift determined every 6 weeks
• Med-Surg shifts may fall on weekdays, weeknights, or Saturdays depending on departmental needs
• Schedule changes on a 6-week basis to accommodate unit requirements
• Candidates must have strong ED experience and/or a robust EMS background
• Responsibilities include providing care in both ED and Med-Surg environments
• Flexibility is required due to rotating and dynamic scheduling
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is expected

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in emergency or EMS settings
• Current CPR certification required
• Additional specialty certifications may be required based on assignment
• Verification of active licensure and certifications are required for consideration
