Job Details:
• Work ICU day/night rotation schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with day/night/weekend plus holiday rotation
• Contract must run through holiday season with no guaranteed time off for 3 major holidays
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certs only), NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
• Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years of hire
• TNCC certification recommended within 2 years of hire
• Must maintain current New York State registered professional nurse license
• Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
• Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional behavior
• Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling
• Computer literacy required with preference for Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Healing Environment principles including safety, dignity, respect, and healthy relationships
