Job Description BJC/Saint Luke's Health System is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our Primary Care clinic in Mission Farms (Hybrid position).
Job Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients within an ambulatory setting, adhering to established standards and best practices.
- Manage comprehensive telephone triage for a team of multiple providers.
- Optimize patient flow and coordinate all aspects of patient care.
- Schedule emergent patient appointments.
- Assess and identify patient and family learning needs, providing appropriate education, advice, and clinical recommendations.
- Administer medications and insert intravenous access as required.
- Delegate tasks to clinical staff, ensuring alignment with demonstrated competencies and the legal Scope of Practice.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing results.
- Enter admission orders precisely as directed by healthcare providers.
- Oversee the management and proper disposal of expired medical samples.
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere while demonstrating the ability to work autonomously.
- Maintain excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor consistently.
Position Details:This role involves significant phone interaction as a primary duty.
Requirements:Candidates must possess both a Kansas (KS) and Missouri (MO) Registered Nurse (RN) license. If dual licensure is not active at the time of offer, the selected candidate will be given a contingent offer, requiring completion of the second state license within 90 days of the start date.
Hours:This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
