Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Rotating holiday schedule
• Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
• Must have experience with Amiodarone and Cardizem drip administration
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Required credentials: NH RN License or Compact License with proof of state residency, BLS certification
• Provide care for medical, surgical, and stepdown level patients
• Patient population primarily elderly but can range from 18 years and older
• Work in a mixed-acuity environment specializing in medical and surgical care

This healthcare facility features a 39-bed mixed-acuity unit that specializes in medical, surgical, and stepdown levels of care. The Thompson unit provides comprehensive patient care services with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity levels. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and requires experienced nursing staff to handle complex medical cases including advanced cardiac interventions and telemetry monitoring.
