Registered Nurse in a Resource Float Pool provides direct and indirect professional nursing care across units, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role supervises and coordinates assigned team members, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and requires current RN licensure, BLS, and relevant certifications; BSN preferred and at least 6 months RN experience. Position is full-time days with varied schedules including weekends and holidays at a new community medical center serving multiple specialties.

Your Job:
Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
Your Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
