RN – CVICU Pediatrics
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is ideal for nurses with strong pediatric cardiac critical care experience in a Level I trauma setting.
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts Nights
- Hours: 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate and communicate with patients’ families regarding care plans
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
Requirements
- RN license (OK or compact)
- BLS and PALS (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric CVICU experience
