A Wound, Burn, and Ostomy Nurse Practitioner providing specialized hospital-based wound care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Washington. Responsibilities include managing diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and performing advanced procedures such as debridement, I&D, NPWT, and total contact casting. Works full-time with interdisciplinary support in a critical access hospital using Cerner EMR, requiring certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and active nursing licensure.

Details:
- Duration: June 1 - Dec 30 (option to extend)
- Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
- Setting: NP Wound Care and Hyperbaric cert. for hospital-based wound care
- Cases: Diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, and pressure ulcers, surgical dehiscence, open surgical wounds
- Required Skills: debridement, I&D, NPWT, bone biopsies, total contact casting, compression wrapping, management of long-term IV antibiotics for treatment of osteomyelitis, identify/supervise HBO patients, order/interpret ABIs, TCOM, vascular ultrasounds, x-rays
- Volume: 10-18 patients/day, 1-3 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy patients, occasional inpatient/ER consults
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital: 25 bed critical access. 2 RN's support
- Require: BC, Active WA or Compact License, HBO (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) Certification
