A New Jersey-based health servicesorganization is currently seeking a licensedPulmonologist, with a Sleep Trained background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Mercer County. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Pulmonary Schedule: 4 days in office; 1 day procedures in hospital Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (8 hour shifts) Responsibilities: The Pulmonologist will: Diagnosing a variety of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), central sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific sleep disorder Provide both non-invasive and invasive treatment options for these conditions Diagnose and manage conditions like narcolepsy, which involve excessive daytime sleepiness and disruptions in sleep-wake cycles Provide strategies to manage insomnia, which involves difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations for patients experiencing uncomfortable sensations in the legs and involuntary limb movements during sleep Educate patients about their specific sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle changes that can improve their sleep quality and overall health Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Jersey Board Eligible / Certified in Pulmonology Desired Skills: Sleep Medicine certification Pulmonologist fellowship Your privacy is important to us.
