Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of cerebral scrubbing experience and current CA licenses for an acute care assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position located in an acute care hospital working on the Interventional Radiology unit
- Requires cerebral scrubbing experience
- Day shifts, 4x10 hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required for a minimum of 12 call days per 6-week schedule, including weekends
- May be required to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Must be prepared to float to other facilities within the state as needed
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off must be included at time of application
- Scrub color for Radiology/OR is provided by the facility
- Free parking is available onsite
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with cerebral scrubbing
- Current BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit, and California state license required (license required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Required certifications must be current and included for consideration
