American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience and active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level 1 Trauma 18-bed Operating Room
- Performs a wide variety of surgeries including general, robotic, laparoscopic, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, spine, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, burns, urology, GYN, and transplant
- Shifts include days and evenings; varied 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts between 0630 and 2330
- On-call hours required Monday to Friday from 2100 to 0630, and 12-hour shifts on weekends
- Patient charting is completed in EPIC
- Primary responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing with a focus on orthopedic, neurosurgery, spine, and general surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to support patient care during procedures
- Preferred experience in ENT, GU, plastics, and burn cases
- All candidates must promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing upon contract signing
- Former employees must have a 6 month gap since prior employment to be eligible; current employees at the facility are not eligible
- Locals are accepted at the same compensation rate
- RTO must be submitted with contract consideration and built into the agreement
- Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Experience working in Level 1 trauma centers
- Extensive scrub experience in ortho, neurosurgery, spine, and general surgery cases
- BCLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC EMR required
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
