Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage VAD/CV catheters
- Perform bone marrow biopsies
- Participate on a tumor board
- Oversee bone marrow transplant management
- Order and interpret laboratory tests
- Utilize blood bank services as appropriate
- Order diagnostic imaging
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Administer chemotherapy in collaboration with nursing staff
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required (AMBS/AOA)
- Active Indiana state license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 50% hematology and 50% oncology case mix
