Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele assignment requiring a PA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Thoracic Surgery Tele floor in a hospital setting
• Med/Surg Tele patient population, thoracic surgery experience is a plus but not required
• Rotating shifts including days and nights, with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Requires working every other weekend and holiday
• Floating within the hospital may be required
• No specific charting experience required
• Must complete required training modules before starting assignment
• Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
• No radius rule applies to this position
• Cannot return as a traveler if previously employed as a permanent RN in the same specialty
• Holiday coverage is expected as part of the rotation

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license in hand
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• COVID vaccination and booster status required
