One of our Partners in Bellingham WA, is seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist to provide outpatient-only locum tenens coverage due to a gap in coverage. This is a weekday clinic assignment with no inpatient rounding, admissions, or overnight call responsibilities.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour clinic days)

• Setting: Outpatient endocrinology clinic

• Patient Population: Ages 16+

• Patient Volume: 12-16 patients per day

• Provider Pay Ranking:Top 15% nationally for outpatient endocrinology locums ( market data)

• Outpatient-only endocrinology assignment

• No hospital rounding or admissions

• Pager call limited to answering service only during business hours (8a-5p) for hospital patients

• Established clinic with full support staff

• Epic EMR

• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency

• Prepaid travel and lodging

• Malpractice insurance coverage provided

• Evaluate and manage outpatient endocrinology patients, including diabetes and metabolic disorders

• Provide comprehensive follow-up care and treatment planning

• Document all encounters accurately in Epic EMR

• Respond to business-hours pager calls for hospital patients as needed

• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure continuity of care

• Board Certified in Endocrinology

• Active Washington medical license required at time of submission (no licensing assistance available)

• Recent case logs demonstrating endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism services within the past 24 months

• Comfortable managing 12-16 patients per day in an outpatient setting

• Epic EMR experience required
