American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing facility position requiring an active state license and at least one year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) providing comprehensive rehabilitation therapy services
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for a 13-week assignment
- Patient population includes residents requiring rehabilitation for strength, mobility, and functional improvements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians
- Primary responsibilities include thorough patient evaluations, development of individualized treatment plans, and provision of therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients and families on exercises, movement safety, and home modifications
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress notes according to facility standards
- Collaborative and supportive team environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement

Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and active state Physical Therapy license required if applicable

- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and adaptive equipment
