RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience required
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• CCRN certification preferred
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Handle assignments based on patient acuity and skill level
• Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Assist with central line placements, bedside procedures like thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures
• Floating to other units as needed
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, tattoos covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
