American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with a NM or compact license, advanced certifications, and prior ER experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a 23-bed hospital Emergency Department
- Typical patient ratio is 1:4-6 in the ER setting
- Shift is 1:00pm to 1:00am, covering a 12-hour mids schedule
- Floating is required but infrequent
- EMR system used is Cerner and Mindray telemetry monitoring equipment
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- Direct patient care to diverse ER patient population, supporting acute and emergent needs
- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if not the same days each week
- No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Limited RTO—requests for time off must be less than one week
- All travelers must wear royal blue scrubs
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Active NM or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and SAMA or CPI
- Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travel RNs
- No certifications can expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
