Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and neurological status, and interpret arrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and wellness strategies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
- MUST have an active Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand.
- BLS & ACLS certifications required and must be active.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
