Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift position in Iowa requiring Epic EMR proficiency and travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call required
• Scheduled to work every third weekend, including holiday rotations
• Documentation is completed using the Epic EMR system
• Responsible for providing urgent and emergent care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Must participate in the department’s holiday rotation and work assigned weekends
• Travelers are expected to limit time-off requests to one day between specified holiday blackout dates
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this role

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC, and MOAB, MAB, or CPI (may be obtained during onboarding)
• Epic EMR experience required
