• 6 8 shifts per month required
• Each shift is 12 hours

• Patient Demographics: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately patients per shift, with seasonal peaks up to 25
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Full-scope emergency medicine, all acuity levels

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Minnesota medical license required
• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS or CALS required
• Experience: Community emergency department experience required
• Other Qualifications: Experience practicing in Minnesota or adjacent states preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for patients of all ages
• Manage a single-coverage emergency department with variable seasonal volumes
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
• Collaborate with on-site and remote specialty support services
• Accurately document all patient encounters in Epic EMR
