Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a DC license, trauma experience, and current COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital
• Night shift schedule, four 12-hour shifts per week from 19:30 to 08:00
• Patient ratios are 1:4-5
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
• No floating to other units required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner Sorian (1st generation) EMR
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Parking is available for a fee or public transportation options are available nearby
• Team environment in a teaching hospital setting
• Holiday coverage required for alternating holidays
• Two professional references needed for consideration

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
